Game length
The game is played over 7 rounds.
Coffee token limit
You cannot have more than 3 Coffee tokens.
Coffee token use
Each Coffee token allows you to either add 1 to, or subtract 1 from, the value of your die, changing the die value between 1 and 6.
Altitude track
The Altitude Track advances one space at the end of each round.
Starting dice
The Pilot receives 4 blue dice, and the Co-Pilot receives 4 orange dice.
Die placement turn
On your turn, place one of your remaining dice on a free space on the Control Panel.
Reroll token
When a Reroll token is in the Current Altitude space, remove it and add it to your supply. Any player may spend a Reroll token to allow both players to reroll one or more of their dice once.
Winning condition
At the end of the round, you win if there are no Airplane tokens on the Approach Track, all Flaps and Landing Gear Switches show the green light, your Airplane's Axis is completely horizontal, and your Speed is less than your Brakes when you placed your Engine dice.
To set up the game, follow these steps before each game: 1. Place the Control Panel between the players, ensuring the arrow on the Airplane Axis disc points at the black triangle at the top and all Switches cover the green lights. 2. On the Speed Gauge, place the blue Aerodynamiss marker between the 4 and the 5, and the orange Aerodynamics marker between the 8 and the 9. 3. Place the Brake marker to the left of the 2 on the Brake track. 4. Give the 4 blue dice to the player on the side with the blue spaces (the Pilot), and the 4 orange dice to the player on the side of the orange spaces (the Co-Pilot). 5. Slide the Altitude Track (green/yellow side) into the slot at the top right of the Control Panel until the number **6000** is visible, indicating your Current Altitude. 6. Slide the YUL Montréal-Trudeau Approach Track into the slot at the top left of the Control Panel until the airplane icon is visible, showing your plane's Current Position. 7. Place a Reroll token on each Reroll icon on the Altitude Track. 8. Place as many Airplane tokens as there are Traffic icons on each space of the Approach Track. 9. Create a reserve of Coffee tokens by placing them next to the board. 10. Give a screen to each player. Additionally, when you first open the box, there are initial preparation steps: 1. Remove and discard any parts of the Control Panel with the trash can symbol. 2. Stick the 9 double-sided stickers on the indicated spaces on the inside and back of the Control Panel. 3. Stick the airplane sticker on the Airplane Axis disc and place the disc into its space. 4. Place the 10 Switches on the green lights.
On your turn, you can do the following: * Place one (and only one) of your remaining dice from behind your screen on a free space on the Control Panel [1B]. You must respect color constraints (Pilot places blue dice in blue spaces, Co-Pilot in orange spaces, or either in both blue and orange spaces) [1C] and number constraints [1D]. Radio spaces have color but not number constraints [1E], and Concentration spaces have no constraints [1F]. * At any time during the round (which includes your turn), any player may spend a Reroll token to allow both players to reroll one or more of their dice once.

You win the game at the end of the final round if all of the following conditions are met: * There are no airplane tokens on the Approach Track. * All your Flaps and Landing Gear Switches show the green light. * Your Airplane's Axis is completely horizontal. * Your Speed is less than your Brakes when you placed your Engine dice. This means the strength of your Brakes (indicated by the red Brake marker) must be greater than your speed (the sum of your Engines). While you don't need to deploy all your brakes, they cannot be below 2, or the plane will be unable to stop.
The provided rules describe victory conditions for the game, rather than a scoring system. You win the game at the end of the final round if all of the following conditions are met: * There are no [AIRPLANE TOKEN] tokens on the Approach Track [1A]. * All your Flaps and Landing Gear Switches show the green light [1B]. * Your Airplane's Axis is completely horizontal [1C]. * Your Speed is less than your Brakes when you placed your Engine dice [1D]. If you meet these conditions, you have landed smoothly and won the game. The rules do not mention any points or scores to accumulate.
The game is played over 7 rounds. The final round begins when the Airport image appears in the Current Position screen and the Airplane image appears in the Current Altitude screen. This occurs after the Altitude Track has advanced seven spaces (or 7,000 feet), as there are 7 spaces on the Altitude track, correlating to 7 rounds in the game. At the end of this final round, you win if all of the following conditions are met: * There are no airplane tokens on the Approach Track. * All your Flaps and Landing Gear Switches show the green light. * Your Airplane's Axis is completely horizontal. * Your Speed is less than your Brakes when you placed your Engine dice.
